About Me

I grew up in the theatre. I spent decades of my life creating art as a producer and director. When my wife and I decided to have children, I made the difficult decision to leave my art behind because I did not want to be an absent father.

Fast forward to the unforgettable COVID chapter of our lives. One day, I found an old Yamaha acoustic guitar with frayed strings that was collecting massive amounts of dust in my garage. I picked up that guitar and it’s been firmly in my grip ever since.

A buddy of mine referred me to the immensely talented Matthew Shad for lessons, which began with Zoom sessions and later turned to weekly in-person. One day, I came to Matt’s studio with some lyrics and some chords that didn’t quite fit. And we have been collaborating on original music ever since.

I’m proud of all the songs I’ve worked on and created with Matt. They’re all incredibly heartfelt, raw, and honest, which I believe comes across to anyone who listens. None of this would be possible without him.

I finally mustered enough courage to play live at a few recitals and attendees would say, “Ya know, you should record that song, I’m telling you…”

So, that’s what I did. Stay tuned.
